Bringing the instant nature of in person collaboration to a home environment
Individual Passion Project, 8 weeks, Oct 2021
Virtual collaboration is not as efficient as on site collaboration.
Covid has caused extra strain for designers and teachers. Paper-to-pencil interactions, such as analog sketches or math problems, don’t transition smoothly through video calls.
Document cameras are not perfected for a seamless virtual collaboration experience.
Analog sketches and math calculations on paper are preferred over mouse to screen interactions. Document cameras enable this workflow but have clumsy UX and don’t integrate the immediate nature of real-time collaboration.
What is stopping quality virtual collaboration for document camera users?
Form iteration sketches
UX and form development
